Sequoia Riverlands Trust hosting art sale Oct 7

Via the organization’s blog:

Sequoia Riverlands Trust is hosting an art sale and fundraiser, “Illuminations of Spring,” on October 7, 2009 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Crawdaddy’s on Main Street in Visalia. Illuminating original paintings of the southern Sierra foothills in spring will be displayed for purchase. Artwork has been contributed by distinguished California Art Club artists who participated in a plein air paint-out on Sequoia Riverlands Trust conservation properties earlier this year. These magnificent pieces of work represent the resplendent beauty of our region’s landscapes at the height of the wildflower season. All proceeds from paintings will benefit Sequoia Riverlands Trust’s conservation mission.

When: Wednesday, October 7, 2009, 5:30-8:30pm

Where: Crawdaddy’s, 2nd floor, 333 E. Main Street, Visalia, CA

Cost: $50/person

RSVP: Please purchase your tickets no later than October 2 by calling 559-738-0211, ext. 108, emailing niki@sequoiariverlands.org or stopping by the office at 427 S. Garden Street, Visalia, CA.
